As much as I’m passionate about new moms feeling supported in their new roles, I equally desire for moms and dads to have a beautiful, meaningful birth experience. As a birth doula, I desire to support, provide evidence-based education and advocate between parents and their providers. All births have their own twists and turns, and I aim to be the calm presence to help each parent feel safe and reassured throughout the process. With four of my own natural childbirth experiences, I know the challenges a mom goes through and how fragile and vulnerable both parents feel. I want to be a support to moms who desire or require natural, medicated or C-section births. My desire is to help you experience a peaceful birth; to help you feel you are educated, informed and advocated as you go through this process.

My Tricks of the trade…
All doulas have a “bag of tricks” and mine include everything soothing from essential oils to battery operated candles, to hot packs, rebozo, massage ball and handheld fan. I also have tools like peanut ball, birth ball, I will use anything from acupressure to hip squeezes to help you ease your pain and focus in on your task at hand.
